Covington, KY/January 26, 2015—Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati Teaming For Talent and Jobs is the topic for the March 19 Covington Business Council Monthly Luncheon, presented by Duke Energy and St. Elizabeth Healthcare.

Kristine Frech, Strategic Initiatives Manager for Vision 2015, will document details of the Regional Indicators Report jointly released by her organization and its Cincinnati counterpart Agenda 360 back in November.

The report ranks Greater Cincinnati ninth out of 12 cities based on 15 indicators such as unemployment, poverty and total jobs. The report includes comparisons of aspirational leading cities such as Austin, Denver, and Minneapolis, which generally our region lags behind.

Frech will talk about some exciting trends which provide growth opportunities for Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky such as diversity, potential for women in competitive fields like healthcare, and increased regional cooperation.

Two other noteworthy developments will occur at the luncheon.  CBC Executive Director Pat Frew will outline top-line results of the 2015 Annual Member Survey and will discuss some new programs addressing member feedback.

And Brandon Sehlhorst, Real Estate Associate at The Catalytic Fund will describe their newest initiative to promote the River Cities and encourage urban living. Learn more about how you can go Beyond the Curb in April to explore a variety of residential and mixed-use properties while enjoying the finest amenities of the urban lifestyle.

The luncheon will be held at the Madison Events Center, 700 Madison Avenue with networking and buffet lunch at 11:30 and program from 12-1.  Cost is $20 for CBC members, $35 for non-members if registered by March 11.  Registration at  Questions (859) 431-1500.
